Appointments

Our business is appointment-based, meaning we may not be in the office if you do not have an appointment scheduled and confirmed.

When making an appointment, you will need to provide your full name, email address, telephone number, and credit card. You will receive appointment confirmation and reminders as well as new client forms via email. We kindly ask that you fill out any necessary forms prior to arriving for your appointment so it will not cut in to your service time.

You may book an appointment through our booking website, or you may text or call us at (704) 561-1866.

Lateness, Charges & Fees

Your credit card is needed to secure your appointment, but it will not be charged until service is completed or in the event of a no-show/late cancelation.

We kindly ask that if you are running late to your appointment that you please contact us as soon as you can, via text or phone call. Life happens and we will work with you.

Should you arrive to your appointment more than 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten your service time or reschedule. If you are more than 10 minutes late 2 or more times, you will incur a late fee added on to future appointments.

Fees are as follows:
• If you are 10min+ late 2 separate times, a $15 fee will be added to each service you are late to moving forward.

• If you cancel within 12hours of your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the booked service(s).

• If you cancel within 2hours of your appointment, or no-show, you will be charged 90% of the booked service(s).

Please Note:
• If you are are charged a late cancellation fee or no show fee, the amount will be credited to your next appointment only if you reschedule within 1 week.

Room Policies & Etiquette

We ask that you please arrive 5 minutes early to your appointments whenever possible. If you need to use the restroom, please do so before being called back for your scheduled service.

Please note that if your requested service requires you to undress, your esthetician will not be leaving the room for you to do so; we will turn around for your modesty until you are on the table. We do not provide disposable underwear or coverings of any kind if you are receiving a Full Bikini, Brazilian, or Butt wax.

ONLY the guest and the esthetician are allowed in the waxing room while a service is being performed. Minors (under the age 18) must have a parent sign consent to have their service(s). Clients 15 years or younger may be accompanied in the waxing room by their parent or legal guardian. We ask the parents observe only and avoid interfering in the service procedure.

We recommend that you do NOT bring small children to your appointment. They may not be left alone in the front waiting room unattended and cannot be in the treatment room due to the nature of our provided services.

Full Bikini & Brazilian Services

These two services are for female genitalia only at this time. We do not currently have the proper training to service male genitalia, but this may change in the future.

Clients must be 16 years or older to receive a Full Bikini wax and a parental consent form must be signed in the studio.

Clients must be 18 years or older to receive a Brazilian wax.

Menstruation & Pregnancy

We kindly ask that if you are actively menstruating to please use a tampon in order to receive a Full Bikini or Brazilian wax. If you prefer not to use a tampon, we ask that you reschedule your service for sanitary purposes.

Active menstruation and pregnancy can result in more skin sensitivity and lowered pain tolerance. You may of course still receive a service(s) but please note skin changes including lifting and discoloration, lingering redness and possibly soreness may persist after your wax.

Waxing F.A.Q.

Who should not receive waxing?

Waxing services are not recommended for the following:

• Persons who are diabetic

• Those on blood thinner medications

• Hemophilia or other bleeding disorders

• Any person with a contagious skin disease

• Any person with an active rash

• Any person with dermatitis or active skin condition

• Active Herpes Simplex or Cold Sores: you will be asked to reschedule

• Bikinis: Herpes, genital warts, STDs

• Persons taking Accutane, Retin-A, or using Differin. For Accutane you must wait a year to be waxed.

• Recently received Botox or other injectables in the area to be waxed

• Cancer patients: Currently receiving chemotherapy wait until 6 weeks after the last cancer treatment and receive clearance from your physician.

• Lupus - active rash, consult with your physician.

• Sunburn: clients who are sunburned will be asked to reschedule until the skin is completely healed in the area to be waxed

If in doubt, always consult with your physician about whether or not waxing is safe for you.

How long should my hair be?

Your hair should be 1/4" to 1/2" long. Typically this means wait 2-4 weeks after your last shave. A good rule of thumb to remember is if you can EASILY pinch the hair, you’re ready!

Will I be completely smooth after my wax?

To accomplish a smoothness in the area being waxed, it is recommended to continue waxing services regularly. Smoothness will generally be acheived after your third (3rd) waxing visit. This is due to the 3 stages of hair growth. So, 3 growth stages + 3 waxes = the best wax.

How long before my hair starts growing back?

This will depend on a number of different factors, including even what season it is (crazy right?). Since there are 3 different stages of hair growth, it will take several waxes before most (or all) hairs are actually affected at the root. This means your first few waxes may grow some hairs back within two weeks or so. But if you stop shaving and stick with a 3-4 week wax schedule, your hair will start taking much longer to come back by your 3rd or 4th visit.

What should I not do after a wax?

Specifically for body waxing we recommend NOT sweating for the rest of the day after your appointment (as in, no gym, sauna, tanning, etc). This will help prevent bacteria from entering the follicles which would result in breakout. We also recommend no acids, retinols, deodorant, heavy lotions, or exfoliating for the rest of the day.

Is there aftercare involved?

We definitely advocate proper home maintanence for the best results and reduced chances of ingrown hairs or breakout! Aftercare will include proper exfoliation, no shaving or tweezing, and use of at-home treatments. No worries, we'll go over all of this in detail at your appointment, along with product recommendations to help you get your happiest and healthiest skin!
